Old Dairy House shortlisted for award

We are delighted that Old Dairy House, our boutique gated development in Kensal Rise, has been shortlisted in the Mixed-Use category in the 2023 Brent Design Awards. These brand new awards celebrate the best examples of high-quality, sustainable design in the borough.

The 16 one two and three bedroom apartments, with flexible commercial space at ground level, were completed in 2022 and are now occupied. Meticulously designed by POW Architects, the development boasts a stunning internal courtyard and communal roof terrace plus private outdoor spaces for every apartment.

Finished in attractive yellow brick to match the Victorian vernacular of Kilburn Lane, the contemporary low-rise design includes features such as photovoltaics at roof level, air-source heat-pumps for the commercial units that manage the cooling and heating and uses innovative insulation methods to optimise heat retention all helping keep energy bills low for residents.

Residents and workers in Brent are invited to vote for their favourite overall entry in the People’s Choice category. Voting is open until Thursday 4th May, with the winners announced later that month.
