London Glassblowing’s chic gallery space sits in front of a 1,000-degree working furnace that has been turning out unique objets d’art for 40 years. The exquisite glass art on display is constantly changing, with visitors also being able to watch the artists practise their craft in the studio that lies beyond its white walls.

Maltby Street Market is a popular weekend market that stretches the length of Ropewalk – a private yard belonging to long established salvage and reclamation company, Lassco. From a modest start the market has grown to become the stomping ground for London’s burgeoning street food movement.

Stalls are arranged along one side of the narrow yard, while bars and eateries are nestled within the seven Victorian Railway Arches that run the length of the site. A true original, the quality and diversity of their traders is second to none, and through a gently rotating roster of visiting stall-holders, the managers of the market work hard to maintain freshness and novelty.
