Fruition Properties

The first half of 2016 at Fruition Properties has seen a plethora of activity across Land, Planning, Construction and Sales.

Current developments

Florian House, launched in Southgate towards the beginning of 2016, has now reached practical completion with 6 of the 7 apartments sold prior to completion of the development. Residents have begun to move into their new homes, many of whom are first-time buyers who have purchased through Help to Buy, and have commented on how impressed they have been by the design, fit and finish. Two five-bedroom family homes remain, along with the three bedroom penthouse, also available on Help to Buy.

In Fulham, Madison Apartments, comprising 16 residential apartments and a stunning lateral penthouse, has progressed and we have agreed two sales prior to completion of the development. We continue to release new units so please do keep an eye out for these. We also look forward to releasing full details on the penthouse in Autumn 2016.

Merchant Terrace, was launched in March – this collection of eight striking townhouses in Hammersmith received widespread praise in a number of media outlets across London with City AM describing it as ‘an ideal location for families, particularly migrating away from Chiswick and Kensington & Chelsea in search of better value’. Two of the houses were reserved after the launch of the show house with further units to be released upon practical completion. We have also reached an agreement in principal for the sale of our first commercial office premises at the same development.

Following a unique land swap with the West London Buddhist Centre, 94 Westbourne Park Villas, located in Notting Hill, is the conversion of a run-down period building into two striking duplex apartments. Land

Following a flurry of new land acquisitions in 2015, this year we have acquired further sites in Vauxhall and Kensal Rise, where we are currently looking to submit planning applications for a residential scheme and mixed-use scheme, respectively. Please do get in touch with our land team if you have an opportunity. 

Planning

We have recently received planning approval for an air rights scheme in Putney for 4 apartments – while currently working on planning applications for a number of new sites. With locations across London; including Finchley, Ladbroke Grove, Willesden, Kensal Rise, Vauxhall and Bayswater, we look forward to releasing more details in the coming months on the planning progress at these sites.

Construction

Construction work is currently taking place at five schemes in Notting Hill, Bayswater, Northwood, Clapham, and Finchley (full details on Q2 2016 progress can be found here). We look forward to providing further details on progress and confirmation of any full development launches during the autumn months.

New appointments

Six new team members have started at Fruition Properties in 2016, including two key support staff to our Managing Director and Technical team. We have also made senior appointments in Construction, Land and our Project & Design teams. Full details on the recent additions can be found here.
